Our Promise

Your horse, cared for like family.

Le Bocage was built by a family who couldn't find the kind of place they wanted for their own horse, so they created it. Two decades later, that same standard shows up in every feed, every turnout, and every clean stall. We offer best-in-area facilities and the kind of attentive, knowledgeable care that lets you simply enjoy your horse.

Beautiful brick barn at Le Bocage at golden hour

Our Story

It started with one girl who wanted to ride.

Twenty years ago, the owners' daughter wanted to learn to ride English, and there simply wasn't anywhere in the area set up to do it well. So the family did what this family does: they built it themselves - and they built it to be the best equestrian center they could create.

Two decades on, the passion hasn't faded, and neither has the standard. What began as a labor of love for one family's horses has become a home for horses and horse people across Southwest Louisiana: boarders, trainers, students, therapeutic riders, and a university team, all sharing the same exceptional facilities and the same belief that horses deserve genuine, attentive care.

From our boarding families

I ride here often and I am part of the competition team - the people at Le Bocage are wonderful and the barn is like a second home. Plus, the facility is beautiful and the stalls are big enough for a horse to lay down comfortably in, as well as move around. Overall, I really love this place and I couldn't think of a better barn to be a part of!
